Baning Natural Tourism Park

Touring to Baning Natural Tourism Park can be a special experience because it is the only Natural Tourism Park which is located in  the middle of the town. This park is grown by thousands  big trees and full of rare plants and animals, so that this park is not only visited as an interesting tourism object but also as an area for conserving and researching for scientist and students.

A laboratory which is built in the location of the park to suppor the research and development of the park is also can be visited for those who are curious about the basic knowledge of forestry. In Baning Natural Tourism Park, there are a wooden bridge to see the view of the park from the higher place.For those who love to discover the beauty of the park, there are a path along the park which can bring us into inside the park. There is also a wide and save camping ground to accomodate them who want to camp.

Baning Natural Tourism Park is located in Baning, Sintang, West Kalimantan. Sintang regency is about 395 kilometer from Pontianak. From Pontianak to Sintang, we can use plane to get in the town. We can also go from Pontianak to Sintang by bus, taxi, or private car for about 6 hours.

Do not be afraid to be starving because there are canteens and inn around the area of Baning Natural Tourism Park. There are also hotel and losmen (small hotel) for those who want to stay. There are also other public facilities around the park, such as information center, hospital, church, and mosque.
