It is not just a lip service when I say that West Kalimantan is a million-potential region. One of them is its great eco-tourism’s potential. So many wonderful objects are waiting to be visited here, start from the objects which are already known to the other which are ready to be discovered. Not only eco-tourism, West Kalimantan also has great number in other tourism objects of historical, cultural, and also culiner.
Unfortunately, ineffective development of this potential today makes tourism in West Kalimantan are still not really well-known. Tourism in West Kalimantan is lack of promotion. How West Kalimantan’s tourism be promoted is not as well as the promotion of other region. Even the tourism objects which are already promoted are not treated well, they are so dirty and unwell managed.
We do really want to do some help in making this aspect of potential to be more developed and known in national and even in international life. But, lack of competence makes us just can not do anything but keep writing about great potential of tourism in West Kalimantan, and we hope there will be going to be someone who read what we write and then be inspired to do a big deal in making up tourism in our lovely province: West Kalimantan.
